At Drexel's Campus, there was a 15 foot high bronze statue of three galloping horses. One day, my friend Dave and I decided to pack a lunch and eat it on the horses, watching people as they passed beneath. We were soon spotted by Cindi and Carol, who wanted to join our adventure. It was an absolutely beautiful fall day, so we all decided to skip the rest of our classes, and climb every statue we could find. It was one of the best days of my life, so I decided to show off some of the better pics. Enjoy!
Here we are, eating lunch on the horses.
We moved on to the Philadelphia Art Museum. I think this statue is really high, so I'm not sure how we got up there.
This one is right behind the Art Museum. It is my favorite pic of the day.
Here we are, posing artistically somewhere in Fairmount Park.
More fun in Fairmount.
Here, Dave and (soon-to-be-girlfriend) Cindi "fell" into a pile of leaves. Nothing breeds romance quite like a day of statue climbing.
Here's the biggest statue of the day. (I'm kind of surprised we didn't get arrested.) I think the top hat makes the picture.
Dave, a preacher, and the top hat.
Here's the last pic of the day: The four of us on a water fountain. As I said, it was one of the best days of my life.
